Pet Care Series – Dangerous Foods & Common Pet Toxins

Do you have a fur baby in your life? Then this class is for you! Please join Mary Gentle for practical information about your sweet pet. Mary has enthusiasm for and a lifetime of experience in animal health care. She will teach cat and dog owners valuable tools in keeping their pets healthy.

Each Monday for five weeks, Mary will cover a different aspect of pet care. Classes may be signed up for on an individual basis.

This week’s topic is: Dangerous Foods and Common Pet Toxins.

There’s a lot of people food your dog or cat should never eat. Some foods are downright dangerous – and some of these common foods may surprise you. Mary will discuss these foods and she will also share loads of information about what common household products cannot be in paw’s reach, what to do if  your pet does get into poison, and pet first aid for poisoning. How to avoid accidental poisoning, what to do if your pet does get into a poison, and pet first and for poisoning will be covered. Do you share pet care with your older children? Please bring them along.
