Aikido is a martial art that teaches self defense and self improvement. It is a path of self mastery with particular focus on deescalating conflict and dealing with weapons attacks. One of the best skills you will gain from aikido training is the ability to fall safely, plus you will learn to use a sword which will make you look cool.

Additional benefits include a flexible body, greater resistance to stress response and being in a supportive class environment. For youth 12 years and older and all adults.

Mark your calendars because our Kidtastic Tuesdays are chock full of fun. We enjoy some free play first and then move into our organized activity.

For children ages 5 and under and their parents or guardians. Open to Community Center members and non-members and it’s free. We will be in the Gym and Lobby area. We can’t wait to see you!

Youth Boxing for children, ages 10 and up! Instructor Zach Trent offers a safe introduction into the fundamentals of boxing and self defense. There will be stretches, body strengthening, and paired boxing drills without sparring. This class will give your child a stronger body and a greater confidence in themselves while having a great time.
