Boomers and Beyond Meet-Up!

Well, “Seasoned Citizens” it seems as if we have suffered from some irregularities in timing this October but never fear the Boomers and Beyond know better than most about how to deal with irregularity! It is just part of becoming well-seasoned, so onward we go.  November and early December activities look fabulous so mark your calendars now, so you don’t forget.

On November 6th we will be playing some challenging card games with new and exciting useless prizes for you to take home for holiday decorating.

The November 20th meeting is the one that we would encourage everyone to attend. In fact, we are inviting folks of all ages to this program.  Kathy Packard, Oaklawn Center on Aging, will meet with us via life stream video. Kathy is an expert on “caregiving” for those who might require it, and for all those who are now serving someone in that capacity.

Care giving requires a support system, and Kathy is one of the best in helping people find the right balance and the best resources.  People have reported that her seminar really helped to change their lives.  We never know when we might be in need of assistance. Please try to be with us for this presentation.

On December 4th, we will be hosting a Christmas Cookie exchange to celebrate the holidays and make us appear to be ahead of the game when folks come over, and we already have cookies made.

Remember…  we always welcome everyone with or without a Community Center membership, and we always look forward to seeing your smiling faces.
