ESSA: Processing Techniques for Photos Using Digital Cameras

Take your photos to the next level! You will spend the day learning processing techniques for photos taken from any digital camera — especially your smartphone! You will be introduced to Snapseed, a free app from Google for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) devices, for immediate photo processing on your smartphone. Moving beyond smartphones and mobile apps, we will also cover more advanced photographic techniques including lighting and composition, cameras, lenses, processing photos on a Mac with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, plug-in filters, black-and-white conversion, printing, and finally branding your work. In this workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of taking pictures and processing those pictures — with a complete start-to-finish workflow. Above all, we will have fun on this journey!
